One of the most visible, and perhaps the most well-known, ways in which Disneyland Paris accommodates guests with disabilities is through its system of Access Cards.
There are two types of Access Cards, and we’ll talk about both of them soon, and each of these cards allows for the guest (and a limited number of companions) to more easily access what Disneyland Paris has to offer. While each of these cards accomplishes this, they do so in different ways, and the requirements to obtain each of these cards is very different.
Also, you won’t need to get an Access Card for Disney Park AND for the Studios Park. The Access Card that you receive is valid for both Parks for the entire duration of your visit. You will be asked how long you are staying for when you apply for your Access Card, and it will be valid until you leave, or for seven days – whichever is shorter. The exception to this is for annual pass holders, as guests with annual passes can get an Access Card that lasts for the duration of the annual pass itself. Which seems useful if you go several times each year, so you don’t have to go through the application process each time you visit the Parks.
Oh, and you can’t get more than one Access Card. They don’t add on to each other, as it were. The card you receive is based on the documentation that you have, so you can’t get both a Facility Card and a Priority Card.
