Let’s be honest, you read this one first, right?

No judgment here. That’s just the smart thing to do.

Food Stalls

In the Studio Park, there are several stalls that sell hotdogs. Hotdogs are a very important foodstuff for EP1. Two stalls in particular that I will direct your attention to are: 1) the FAN-tastic Food Truck; and, 2) a food truck outside of "Minnie's Musical Moment" (which I can't remember the name of and can't look up because it isn't showing up on the app – I told you they aren’t always on there!). Both of these places will do a plain hot dog (or 'nature' en Francais), which is, naturally, the only way to eat a hot dog (according to EP1). I would recommend the FAN-tastic Food truck of the two of these because it is tucked away at the end of a dead-end street around the corner from the WEB ride, simply because it is much quieter down there, being one of our places of sanity.

Quick-Service Restaurants

In the Disney Park itself, Expansion Packs 1 and 2 eventually found a few places they would eat. One is the Hyperion Cafe in Discoveryland, which, seeing as it is inside Videopolis, was previously featured in our ‘pockets of sanity’ section. They have burgers and chicken strips, which are solid go-to meals in our family. The Expansion Packs would also stomach a plain cheese pizza from "Pizzaria Bella Notte" in Fantasyland. I would also recommend "Au Chalet de la Marionnette," also in Fantasyland. It has a good plain chicken leg (which is a surprisingly large amount of food, actually), as well as options for a Bavarian hot dog and chicken strips. The chicken leg has herbs on it, but if you take the skin off, it may work for you. That is what we did in any event.

Dining Experiences

For those of us who have (or who are!) picky eaters, many of these dining experiences are buffets. Which is great, as it provides a lot of options for everyone in your family in one spot. Unfortunately, these things are really expensive, so eating at buffets all the time is not likely going to be a realistic option. It certainly isn’t for our team! Still, for us it was nice to have one, superhero-themed, meal that we didn’t have to negotiate with the Expansion Packs in advance about what they would eat. We could just go and sit down (having done our research with the menu beforehand), knowing that there would be something there for each of us to enjoy.
